Bio

SÜPREMACY (Bio)
The group was formed in the middle of April 2009 under the name “Fandino” as a result of the fusion of Harold Fandino's solo proyect and the band “Lips Murder” composed by Paul Reyna (bass), Andrés Tovar (drums), Diego Chavez (guitar) and Daniel Acosta (guitar)

“Fandino played for the first time on June 6th of 2009 at the “Teatro Metropol” in Bogotá, together with the legendary Spanish band “Baron Rojo” in front of a crowd of approximately 2,000 persons, demonstrating that talent and hard work are more relevant than time.

They played its music in many key music spots in and around the city of Bogotá, and also played a part in the UIS Festival in Socorro, Santander, Colombia where they played to a crowd of approximately 3,500 people.

Nearing the end of 2009, halfway through the recording of their Extended Play, the group decided to make some drastic changes in order to obtain a better level musically and commercially and to push forward in both of these areas. Thus, the band changed the name of the project from “Fandiño” to “Supremacy”, and joining with Rubio Res (Patrick Moraz student) who came in from New York to handle keyboard duties and help finish the music material, “Whispers Of Hope”.
The EP treats serious subject matter including social issues, the environment, psychology and profound emotions, with many intentions, points of view and musical fusions. For mastering, the band decided to contract the world-class mastering engineer Joe Lambert of Trutone Mastering in New York. Joe has worked with such luminaries as Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Dio, Black Label Society, Judas Priest and many other world class artists.

Throughout the year 2010, they played around in various prestigious establishments and events in Bogotá, and other colombian cities, but in September they were invited to be part of the “Leyendas del Rock (Rock Leyends)” event in which participated the legendary German band “Scorpions” and the American group “Cinderella” in the "Parque Simón Bolívar", in front of 30,000 people.

Shortly thereafter, Supremacy were invited to give the opening act from the band "LEO-037" of Spain in the "Revolution stage" in front of 1,200 people, recording there a live video clip of their song "Whispers of Hope".

Over the years with the departure of Diego Chavez and Andres Tovar, and the incorporation of their new drummer Lukas Tenjo, Supremacy are in the production of their first album, which will take the cooperation of the mastering engineer Mika Jussila at Finnvox Studios in Finland.
