We've all been playing music for a while now. At least five years for each of us. Julian and Nathan were in a band together previous to Surf Deer and picked up Mitch as a stellar bassist. We now write all of our own songs, most of them with a garage rock up-tempo feel. This can vary, however, as we do have a pop music side to our songs and even some punk, metal, and indie influences. We have a few covers too from some of our major influences such as FIDLAR, Wavves, Pixies, Skaters, Arcade Fire, Bass Drum of Death and others. We have two unprofessionally recorded EPs uploaded to our bandcamp and have been playing as a band since late spring of 2015.
