Bio

Surf De Soleil is an up-and-coming alternative rock band from Fayetteville, AR whose sound is influenced by many different artists from The Strokes to Bright Eyes, from Kings of Leon to Led Zeppelin. The band consists of Philip Shepherd (vocals), Scott Love and Nate Korth (guitar), Jared Thompson (Bass) and Cody Nielsen (drums).
'Surf' has played a variety of different venues from George's Majestic Lounge in Fayetteville to The Hub in Springdale as well as several Northwest Arkansas charitable events. They have opened for national touring acts like Fair to Midland and Kopecky Family Band as well as big local names such as Randall Shreve and the Sideshow, A Good Fight, Apartment 5, Benjamin Del Shreve, and the Rocker Lips (from Kansas City).
The Fayetteville Public Library has said that Surf de Soleil “Rocks bigger and badder than bands that have been around much longer… Undeniable crowd-pleasers.” and Richard Padilla, manager of the Warehouse Music Venue, has said “Surf De Soleil has such a fresh, new sound that it has regularly earned them the headliner spot at The Warehouse.”
