Relentless songwriters and devoted instrumentalists, Surprise Me Mr. Davis calls North America their home. Initially a side project between a NorthEast avant-rock band and a smalltown Virginia troubadour, these four found themselves trapped indoors during a snowstorm in 2004 with some mics, a computer, and lots of hot chocolate. The collage recording "Surprise Me Mr. Davis"(Frogville Records) was born. Since then, they have maintained a regularly irregular touring/recording schedule. The EP "Only in Montreal" was released independantly in '06, and you can here Roses in Bottles and One Sick Knave from their upcoming re-debut here on Sonicbids.
