It is all about music. Has everyhing to do with people. It is driven by the one and only reason for living. God. And to SURRENDER to God is the heart of worship for this gathering of inspired artists.
Born out of a desire to see broken hearts healed and distorted lives changed, this group of musicians started SURRENDER BAND, a gathering of worship, music and words.
Charl Folscher, John-Morgan O’Kennedy, Helena Smith, Herman Nieuwoudt, Handri De Villiers and Lourens De Villiers form Surrender. With their talents cemented in music, songwriting and artistic creativity, together with years of individual and group experience in music and ministry, they are a powerful combination.
SURRENDER BAND tours South Africa, visiting schools, universities, churches and festivals. Their production is a combination of original and cover worship music, performance and sharing basic truths from the Word of God.
Their performances are young, passionate, energetic and authentic. What they write and play is who they are.
