I started writing around the age of 8 to express what I couldn't say to adults. I knew one day I would write songs & sing, I just wasn't quite sure how or when it would happen. Now the words and melodies flow through me as quick as the flood that blasted me out of my home in 2007.

I submitted my first song lyric to a contest in 2009 and was chosen as a top five finalist. I was listed as an honorable mention and in 2010 was chosen as suggested artist. I also made semifinalist status in the 2011 songwriting competition.

Life, as it tends to do, took me on some very interesting and bumpy adventures. But as I say, Our lives are not for punishment or glory, it's so in the end we all have a story. Mine I tell through my songs. Without the good, bad & indifferent times in my life, my songs would not tell the story of my journey. After many strange and tragic events in 2007, I picked up a pen and I haven't put it down. In 2008 I decided, maybe these could be songs, but if i'm serious about this i'll have to put music to them, so i bought a guitar. I took two guitar lessons and thought, damn this is hard and it hurts like hell, but i'm not one to give up on a dream so i keep plugging away. I plan on one day winning a grammy for my songwriting. I believe God has put this music in my life for a reason so I'm going for the gold.

What sets me apart from other artists is all my songs are different. I'm constantly asked when I have friends listen to my rough demo, who's singing this song, I giggle and tell them I sing them all as well as do my own harmonizing, the advantage to growing up with a barbershop quartet in my family. I guess to them my voice sounds different in every song, to me I sound the same.

I figure with the music that flows thru me this must be one of my destiny's. Now if I can find a financial backer to help me get my music out to the world my dreams will be fulfilled !!!!!!!!
