"Two Way Street Coffee House"

"Susan Urban first appeared on our stage in 1986, and has returned many times since. She is consistently a very good performer. She has very good stage presence and audience rapport with all age groups. Her songs span a variety of styles from humorous and whimsical to heartfelt and thoughtful. Some are topical, examining current issues and saying what needs to be said with satire and wit." --Dave Humphreys, Two Way Street Coffee House, Downers Grove, IL - Dave Humphreys

I have released a number of albums over the years, solo and with bands, and many of the songs have received airplay all over the U.S.

Susan Urban's songwriting influences are the old traditional ballads and such 20th Century story song masters as Harry Chapin, Malvina Reynolds, Stan Rogers and Steve Goodman. Sometimes funny, sometimes heart-wrenching, sometimes inspiring, Susan's performances weave a tapestry of humor, passion and reflection as rich and varied as life itself. Her clear, deep voice has been described as "Like fire!"
