Bio

S.U.S was raised in Chester, PA, a small town just outside of Philadelphia by his grandmother, and like many young men amid the poverty and ruin of his community he found solace through the game of basketball. The music bug bit S.U.S after watching the movie House Party, enticed by the back and forth display of the two rappers taking shots at each other he grew fond of the art we call hip-hop.

After looking up to rappers like; Rakim, KRS-One, Public Enemy, 2 Pac, and The Notorious B.I.G S.U.S was inspired to pursue his own music career. He began rapping and battling in school at the lunch tables and in different neighborhoods in Chester. He created a name for himself almost immediately catching the attention of Ace Jonez and they began making music together.

S.U.S made his name a little more known after dropping two parts to his (More Money, More Problems) mixtape series which is him displaying versatility such song writing, witty freestyles, and a cocky demeanor. His talent has landed him on stage with artist like; Ray J, Hell Rell, and Canibus to name a few. As the first artist on Ace Jonez’s Street Division Records imprint he feels he can take hip-hop back to its essence, of lyrics and MCing.

Under the guidance of Ace Jonez and S.H.A.H CYPHA, S.U.S is currently working on his debut street album “I AM S.U.S” set to be released in the spring of 2011. After witnessing Ace win an Underground Music Award, it made him work twice as hard knowing he can easily be in that same position. S.U.S is making his presence felt throughout the underground scene and the Internet, with the support of his friends, family, and cohorts.
