After just one year in London, SUUN is already in the Finale of the Indy Awards 2008. This means they are part of the top 4 independant Pop bands in the UK. Their live show is amazing, and you can feel that these guys are totally dedicated to their music. It has been a while since I didn't feel such an emotion watching an independant band on stage. Suun’s first release, ‘Buy Me I’m Free” is a classic example of the band’s trademark sound. Raw vocals, stripped down instruments with unexpected key changes and a live energetic sound are all thrown into the mix. Attach a hypnotic funky drum beat sliced by an infectious piano riff, bass played as a bass and guitar, lifted up by humanistic lyrics and your somewhere near imaging a sound and a group that can only be described as truly original - Suun.
SUUN is based in London since early 2007. They caught the attention of VPMG, many promoters including Feed Me Music and producers from Dangerous Management within a few month only. SUUN became a resident band at the Pigalle Club in the heart of Piccadilly Circus and performed at well-known venues in London: the Grand Clapham, Cafe de Paris, the Soho Revue Bar, the Punk, the Mass. and venues in Paris like La Scene Bastille, Le Zebre, Le sentier des Halles.
SUUN was part of the best 4 Pop band in the Final of the UK Indy Awards 2008.
