Bio

Since growing up surfing on the Gold Coast I’ve been a performing musician and songwriter all my life. People I’ve worked with and been influenced by are Tim Gaze the young guitarist from creative Australian bands. Touring as flautist with Dutch Tilders added blues to my style. Mal Clarke from the Bullamakanka band at Ayers Rock resort helped me recently to put a demo CD together of songs I've not had the chance to release. I've had residencies in Melbournes piano bars such as The Windsor Hotel and many others as well as getting around and jamming on flute at local jazz venues with friends. Just had a lucky break as resident pianist at Mantra Tree Tops Resort in Port Douglas.
Here Is My Song the debut solo CD is for sale on cdbaby.com where you can listen to everyone of the 14 original songs. It kicks along with a country flavour and blues influences.
Reviews from Gary Young, Triple JJJ. Helen Jennings 3PBS have been great. Getting certificates of award from Unisong for “Here Is My Song” and “Hold On” has been encouraging and I'm hoping to get some recognition.
Other influences: Jethro Tull, Bessie Smith, Whitney Houston, Bonnie Raitte, B.B. King, Blondie, James Taylor, Van Morrison, Gil Scott Heron, and some funk and sole influences.
