Serelle has that something special! We have welcomed her to the La Bar Club Acoustica stage several times recently and were so impressed with her live show that we have invited her to join the bill for our popular showcase events held at Sydney venue, The Basement
.
As a result of an appearance on our Acoustica radio show on 2SER we were inundated with interest in her live performance and the newly released eponymous EP.
We instantly added the beautifully produced EP to our playlist, particularly the tracks 'U Baby' and 'Friend' which demonstrate a vocal maturity and melodic structure which should see her profile expand exponentially, if there is any justice in this industry. Award winning singer/songwriter Suzanne Serelle's influences are so varied that they range from prog rock to punk to even Joni Mitchell and RnB!
In October 2011, Suzanne was the recipent of 2 songwriting awards via the Australian Songwriters Association's international song comp
Later that year, JFDI (co-written and produced by Serelle) reached number 8 on the ITUNES charts in the fitness and workout catagory for artist Mz Hollywood.
Serelle has sessioned with high profile Australian bands on many occastions and has also busked as a solo artist in New York, London and Germany and of course gigged all around Australia.
She sucessfully toured Japan in 2010 and is looking at more work and tours overseas and her film clips are right now in review for Indian Music TV.
