Originally from Florida’s Gulf Coast, Suzy Skarulis is unsigned and best known for her soulful surf-influenced folk and rock music.

Before moving to the north shore of Oahu at the age of seventeen, Skarulis grew up a wave-starved surfer on the Gulf Coast of Florida surrounded by a family of musicians. Influenced by her father's passion for jazz and blues, she has managed to create a sound comprised of laid back surfing acoustic elements, as well as soulful blues, folk, and rock.

Skarulis moved to San Diego in search for an audience at the age of nineteen. Since then, she has had the opportunity to record at well-known studios such as Signature Sounds, Capricorn, and StageOne. A member of the San Diego Songwriter's Guild and SD Songwriter's Meetup, she has collaborated with many musicians as well as performed nationwide. - San Diego Reader

Before moving out of her small beach town home in Florida to the North Shore of Oahu at the age of 17, Suzy grew up a wave-starved surfer on the gulf coast of Florida surrounded by a family of musicians. Influenced by her father's passion for jazz and blues and integrating her love for folk and rock, Suzy's soulful voice croons a new style of captivating music that both excites and enthralls her listeners. Having been compared to the likes of Adele, Amy Winehouse, and KT Tunstall, Suzy has been reviewed as "“FIVE STARS" and having "a truck load of talent that is just overflowing with emotion, sensuality and energy..” by MuzikReviews.com.

At 19, Suzy relocated to San Diego and dove head first into southern California's music scene. At 21, Suzy released her debut album. Now 23, Suzy has toured nationally and been featured as a new artist on countless radio and television stations across the country. Suzy has been invited to perform at an MTV showcase in Los Angeles, has been featured on BET, The Today Show, as well as San Diego’s FM94.9, & KPRI-FM102.1 & LATalkRadio. Still an active member of the surfing industry, Suzy was the only musical act at SIMA’s 2010 and 2011 Liquid Nation Balls, which helped raise over $500,000 for surf-related charities and which honored Jason Mraz and Shaney Jo Darden of Keep a Breast as the “Humanitarians of the Year.”

Suzy co-founded the indie production company “Shameless Productions,” which made the music video for her song “BANG BANG.” She has also starred in/produced/soundtracked the short film “Leaving LA” as well as performed at The Florida Music Festival where she opened for band such as Amberlin & Rusted Root in front 21,000 fans. A graduate student at BerkleeMusic, Suzy is currently recording her original Christmas song as well as her second studio album. She is also involved in a killer Rock 'n Roll side project!!
