SVND (Se Viste Niño Dio)

​SVND are a band​ formed by two talented
Mexican siblings, Eva and Mau Jimenez. The project started in 2013 when
Eva and Mau decided to follow in the footsteps of their mother, Blanca
Balderas, who was a successful solo artist in the 70's. Taking advantage
of experience obtained from different projects, Eva and Mau put
together their talent and creativity to form SVND. In 2014 the duo added
the talents of Benoît Gisler​, master of composition and arrangement.
With the inclusion of Benoît​ the trio embarked on an encouraging tour
of Switzerland to promote the band, concluding in a collaboration with
well-known Swiss producer Lukas Zimmermann. Later in 2016, thanks to a
successful crowd-funding campaign the band were able to join forces with
Lukas and his label 'Sophie Records' to record the band's fist EP. SVND
and Sophie Records accomplished their goal in creating a fresh and
atmospheric record that effectively illustrates their personality and
sound. In 2016 the band completed their formation by adding the energy
and talent of Englishman Lewis Green on drums and percussion. Now, by
being able to fully reproduce the sound of the EP live, SVND seek to
tour in both Mexico and Europe to exhibit their sound to a wider
audience.

Debuting at 67 in the iTunes top 100 albums in its
first three days, the SVND EP has been well received locally and SVND
are already composing new material for the future. Available now on
