Swaby

Swaby is a passionate and driven Reggae artist who is determined to promote humility and compassion through music. Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica he identifies himself as an African Descendant living the ancient struggles in a modern world. After establishing himself as a musician, Swaby created the Soulutions Reggae Band, which became very popular and beloved on the east coast. His sound is true Jamaican reggae that conveys the heart and soul of African Liberation music. His music communicates the urgent need for action now, but emphasizes his hope for the triumph of love tomorrow.
Swaby has written songs for Montgomery College World Ensemble and different studio producers from around the world. Swaby's most recent album is No Problems Just Soulutions. Al Anderson from The Original Wailers commented on the album, saying the music was "Deep, like the Grateful Dead. Some real Roots Reggae." Swaby is an accomplished guitarist, songwriter, live performer and studio artist who has graced a range of venues. From Onstage TV in Jamaica to Rams Head Live in Baltimore; from SOB's in New York to the Hollywood Casino in Los Angeles, Swaby is a traveling musician who is forever uplifting and inspiring his audiences to spread the flame of equal rights and justice. Currently Swaby plays with Jahbandis based in Los Angeles spreading the message of truth.
