Fresh off of their release of the 2014 EP "The DC Grimy", Swamp Poodle is ready to explode on the DC funk and R&B scene. The band has been developing its sound and audience over the past 2 years and has nuanced a mashed up sound, mingling classic Motown R&B feels with Afro-Cuban Funk and outright Rock for a sound that is uniquely DC in its vast array of groove influences. Swamp Poodle features the talents of three DC music veterans - Addison Heard on Organ and Vocals, Emily Webbe on Lead Vox, and Scott Castonguay on Guitar, but features an array of other DC funk allstars.
