The Southwest Biscuit Company are a Hillbilly Jazz and Western Swing outfit, comprised of Jody Byrd on lead vocals, Marty Smith on Steel Guitar, Jordan Bush on Lead Guitar,Clarinet, and harmony vocals, Armando Wood on Upright Bass and harmony vocals, on Accordian,Piano, and harmony vocals and Cole Bingham on drums. SBC follows the tradition started by acts like Bob Wills and Texas Playboys, and Hank Penny, as well as contemporaries like The Lucky Stars, and The B Stars, with a bit of their own twist. Playing a mix of great western swing standards, and vintage country and western, as well as jazz standards, and a bit of rockabilly for fun, this band is a dance band, and the groove is always keeping the dancers in mind, with infectious beats that the dancers cannot get enough of. Come check them out at your local watering hole, or swing dance event.
