Sweet sounds
Reggae group Sweet Justice's island sound will pulse through Big Daddy's on Monday night as the Miami group plays a mix of reggae and calypso with a modern touch. Lead singer Clement "Fowl" Lightbourne sings sensational syrupy harmony, and the classically trained musicians put on a energetic performance with as much vitality as talent. The dance-hall quartet's members hail from Jamaica, Dominica, St. Lucia, and Turks and Caicos. They have performed with UB40, Steel Pulse, Yellowman, Ziggy Marley and the Baha Men. Sweet Justice will perform songs from its latest release, "Can't Slow Down," before it jets off to do shows this winter with international reggae legend Mikey Dread.
