Still working on that hot first release.

Sweet Lady Jayne resurrects the passion for classic rock that has lost its thrill over the past few decades. With an underlying blues base, Sweet Lady Jayne’s music captures the essence of rock and roll and creates an intense atmosphere fueled by sheer pandemonium.

Audiences are familiar with their gritty classic rock sound due to three members of the band’s previous project, The Effects. Effects co-founders bassist Chase McGillis and guitarist Jeff Krantz started touring in 2006 and played over 500 shows together. Heavy-handed drummer Aaron Spraggs hailed from Kentucky and was added to the lineup in 2008. The group shared the stage with notable bands such as Kings Of Leon, Phantom Planet, The Roots, The Toadies, and toured with Jonathan Tyler and the Northern Lights in the Spring of 2010.

Standout performances led to being regulars on the festival circuit at Summerfest from 2007-2009 and the Red Gorilla Music Fest-SXSW from 2006-2010. Internationally, the band was booked through Armed Forces Entertainment for a month long tour entertaining the troops stationed in Iraq, Autumn of 2009.

Sweet Lady Jayne’s live rock show is nothing less than madness. Jeff Krantz spits out ferocious guitar riffs while Chase McGillis and Aaron Spraggs maintain the heartbeat through intense rhythmic bass and crashing cymbals. Captivating vocalist Benny Anderson, recruited from Minneapolis, MN, completes this rock star performance with his fearless approach, encouraging fans to join the chaos through his wailing of edgy lyrics and his rampaging across the stage.

Sweet Lady Jane channels the mojo of Muddy Waters, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones, Howlin’ Wolf, and The Beatles into a sound that can only be described as rock and roll, pure and simple. Their electrifying live show will make your ears bleed and your knees weak. Sweet Lady Jane is making something new of something that shouldn’t have ever gone away. If you don’t like good times and late nights, this isn’t the band for you.
