SWEET RELEAF
What is Sweet Releaf?
Sweet Releaf (SR) is a project designed to cross promote and raise money and awareness for the amazing work being done by local environmental organisations and that being done locally and nationally by The Wilderness Society (TWS). So far we have raised over $600,000 for TWS. Our goal is to raise $1 million.

In 2008 SR will be touring Australia drawing attention to local, regional and national efforts to protect and rehabilitate our environment. In each town the tour visits we will be conducting a variety of activities* to promote grass roots environmental sustainability culminating with the presentation of a gig at which local artists and environmental organisations will present their work.

* Such activities will include:
- Hosting a gig;
- Talking face to face with people on the street about local, national and international environmental issues for 4 days leading up to each gig;
- Conducting radio, street press and newspaper interviews;
- Community tree planting (depending on the town);
- Plus more
