Biography

Sweet Texas Crude is the epitome of unbridled and unapologetic Texas rock. By Texas, I don’t mean your granddaddy’s same old stereotypical song and dance about 10 gallon hats, lost loves, and irrelevant worn out customs of antiquity. And by Rock, I mean just that…attitude driven, red dirt, heavy groove oriented rock.
Calling Ft. Worth, Texas home, Sweet TX Crude is an original and innovative force to be reckoned with across the Lone Star State and beyond. Their potency as both artists and performers are the consequences of a volatile concoction of indignant deep seeded persistence and an insistence on saying what they have to say and how they want to say it...no exceptions, no compromises.

Sweet TX Crude's performances are electrifying. Playing both locally and internationally, Sweet Texas Crude has graced many stages. Last year they helped rain forest preservation efforts at Rain forest Aid 2009 in Costa Rica, teamed up with Stephen Baldwin and Michael Spinks for The Families of Fallen Troops Foundation at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, and helped raise money for Children's Miracle Network earlier this year.

Sweet TX Crude’s influences are vast. Everything from Texas country, R&B, classic rock, heavy metal, and God knows what else. Sweet Texas Crude, at the end of the day, can say they are making music they can genuinely call their own.
