I became a fan of Swerve a few years back when no other band would dare to cover country music. Yes, this rocker chick LOVES her country too and Swerve brings high end energy, enthusiasm and endless fun filled talent and love for their fans. Jason Abbott proves stage persona, strong pipes and a happy ass attitude WILL keep peeps in a bar til close, girls on the dance floor and mixes in rock classics with country upbeat favorites for all!! The drummer Ed Garza I have known for close to 20yrs and there has not been a band he has played in that he can’t adapt to and give it his all every single time, a true artist and backbone to this band. New to me is Paul Trinidad on guitar. I pay close attention to guitarists and not only if they can match on covers but add a personal touch to them, which Paul proved last night to be note worthy….keep shredding and I look forward to your growth in Swerve. A great crowd at McCarthy’s, Aurora’s leading staple in live music. Michael Martinez manages a family atmosphere with weekend warriors in live music, benefits and a positive contributor for worthy charities. Good food, great staff and always a good time!!
