A Cheltenham based 3 piece band formed in early 2009, with the current line-up
Kingsley Salmon (21) - Guitar & Vocals
Rob Paget (22) - Bass & Vocals
Aaron Evans (23) – Drums
Forming in late August of that year (band 2 years old this year).
Swift Manouver, have played numerous venues across the country including Leicester, Cardiff, Oxford, Birmingham and London being well received wherever they have played either headlining or supporting both local and visiting artists with their unique and passionate fusion of rock/reggae.
They are lively performers on stage who not only perform their own compositions but also manage to make a deep connection with the audience through their lyrics, stage presence and audience participation.
Gaining in popularity and with word of mouth recommendation increasing the numbers following the band Swift Manouver has, become a much talked about subject on the music scene from local groups to regional radio and beyond.
They have fast become recognised as one of the best up and coming bands originating from the Southwest UK.
Their track “David and Goliath” was voted track of the year 2010 by BBC Radio Gloucestershire “introducing” and more recently, they have recorded an acoustic live session for the BBC at BBC Radio Gloucestershire and graced the BBC introducing stage at the Wychwood Festival 2011.
April of 2011 saw the band embark on a lightning tour of Holland, Belgium and France where they made a lasting impression and have been requested to return at the earliest opportunity.
