So, what is it that you're looking for? A sense of worth? Is it to enjoy your existence while you're still alive? Do you desire excitement and nights when you lived so hard you have to piece it together the next day? Or do you simply want to be moved by something? If so, I present to you...the SwillMerchants. Originated in Western Massachussetts but quickly branching out to play venues in four different states (including N.Y.C) and Canada, recieving consistent radio airplay in two states and gaining considerable press within three months worth of live shows and just six months of conception. They perform live shows so intense they leave the stage exhausted and refreshed at the same time, while writing music with a seemingly unconscious ease and disregard for who may love or hate it. They have earned a large and loyal audience due to their dilligent yet intelligent marketing and their aforementioned attributes while at the same time have stayed true to the openess of their music. However, presiding above all this is the fact that they live their lives in total support of their craft like a poetic genius with a thirst for life, trapped in the body of a late-night-madman with a thirst for alcohol. Despite their fast and continuous drive forward, the SwillMerchants aren't here to tell you all of the things you hear far to often from far to many bands. That they are the greatest band in the area, the greatest band in the world, are here to change music, have come to save rock and roll, and that they don't sound like anything you've ever heard. But, if you catch them in the right frame of mind, at the right time of night, or after just enough Jack Daniel's, they may just tell you all of those things. Fortunately for them, they have the substance to back up their swagger. Drawing from any influence that feels right to any of the given members at any given time, they aim only to make amazing, original music that moves them, and hopefully,you. Period.
