SWiM is a dynamic pop rock band hailing from the Rock-n-Roll capital Cleveland, Ohio. The band's sweetening mass appeal is lead by the infectious crooning of Chad Armstrong, clever song writing, and musical prowess.
They pull melodies, rhythms, and the unexplainable aural magic which seems to be in the most familiar of songs, effortlessly pour them into their own tunes, polish them and present them like a new gift!!
SWiM has just finished recording their debut 9 song ep and has already sold over 4,500 copies. Swim is already gaining local and national acclaim thru live performance, college radio and internet marketing. The band plays regularly in Cleveland and through out the northeast region from New York to Detroit and is establishing a solid fan base.
SWiM reached national exposure in 2004 when partnership for a Drug Free America featured the "I Am For Real" TV spot which they wrote and recorded the music for that aired over 200,000 times on major TV stations in the US.
The band has shared the stage with several national touring artists including: Edwin McCain , SR-71, Rooney, Something Corporate, and Maroon 5.
SWiM has also performed at the Rock-N-Roll Hall Of Fame as part of the local spotlight concert series in 2004.
