"SWINGING IN THE RAIN"

THE SWINGFIELD PLAYBOYS w/ HERB REMINGTON
(BB) - Bernard Boyat

Bio

The Swingfield Playboys play Americana music with no restraint. Picture Bob Wills, Jimmy Rogers, Fats Waller, and Cole Porter in the same band. Vintage songs with contemporary originals that could be mistaken for songs from the 1930's or 1940's. This seven piece band has roots in Texas Swing as well as Tin Pan Ally. Strong, pulsating rhythm, dominate vocals, melodic songs, mixed with virtuoso lead work. Tight, structured orchestration with an ability to improvise at will, combined with an irreverent attitude makes this outfit a multi-level, live entertainment experience. Dance, listen and laugh!
