Swinging for Mars are an English Alternative rock band formed in North East London in 2009, by Richard Kennedy (lead vocals, guitar) and Joe Harding (lead guitar, vocals). Christopher Deering (bass, backing vocals) and Brook Firth (drums, percussion) would complete the current line-up of the band in 2013. The name Swinging For Mars is derived from lyrics to “Dark Blue” the second single by Jack's Mannequin from their critically acclaimed first studio album, Everything in Transit.
The group has released 4 studio albums, Just Believe (2010), Broken Generation (2010), Go To Hell (2011), Back To The Booze (2012).They have also recently released their most recent studio EP Skip (2013) featuring singles Skip, Two Timing Whore and Love Sick Fool.
