The night got started with the raw punk-ska and 2tone sound of local favorites, Los Nauticals.
The band came out strong and were up for the task of opening for the DK. They entertained the crowd and got them amped with songs like, “Hey, Hey,” “Skankin Dorian,” and they even covered a Rancid track. - OC Music News

Bio
Swingin Johnny is a true icon of the punk rock/ Ska scene in Long Beach. He embodied the spirit of rebellion and individuality that punk rock is all about. As a paratrooper, he had seen the world and experienced things that few people can even imagine. But it was his love of music that truly defined him.
He played with some of the biggest names in punk rock, including the legendary Dead Kennedys. But he also supported the local punk scene, playing with up-and-coming bands and helping to promote their music. And he did it all with a style and attitude that was uniquely his own.
Today, he continues to be a force in the punk rock community, sponsoring events and promoting the music he loves. And he does it all while proudly wearing his Sullen Clothing gear, a brand that he has long been associated with.
For anyone who loves punk rock and the culture that surrounds it, this individual is a true inspiration. His passion and dedication to the music and the scene are truly admirable, and he continues to be a shining example of what it means to be a punk rock rude boy from Long Beach.
