Swing Low

Swing Low is a hard hitting, melodic rock / pop / indie band out of San Francisco, California. Combining the raw texture of Indie Rock with the polished and melodically rich sounds of Pop and mainstream Rock, Swing Low is quickly becoming recognized for their distinctly unique combination of energy, vibe, and fun while maintaining the intensity of meaningful content.

First meeting over 3 years ago in Santa Barbara, Josh and Sean formed the backbone of what, in 2009, would become Swing Low. Soon long time friends Jacob Jones and Ryan Steel joined in an effort to provide not only more material but creative energies that would lead to the completion of a 5-song EP "Eyes Wide Open" in 2010 and another EP and dozens of other songs currently in the works.

Swing Low has an increasingly energetic and distinct live show that sets them apart from other bands of similar style. For Swing Low, a band is no more than they represent realistically live and that ideology penetrates everything the band does. From recordings to live shows, the emphasis has always been on energy, vibe, and emotional connection.

With the combined efforts of all members in writing material and the solo efforts of each member, contributing entire songs, vocal melodies or arrangements, Swing Low brings a level of intrigue with each new song written that highlights a high level of ingenuity and differentiation. "No two songs come together the same way, from the same inspiration, and with the same sonic elements in mind." says Sean of Swing Low.

Swing Low is looking to the future in order to build as musicians, showmen, lovers, and human beings. They increasingly look forward to sharing experiences and stories with fans and new fans to come in cities and at venues across the country. So tell me….are you excited yet!?
