Bio
The Switchblades circa 2008, began in Detroit after punk rocker Liah Lazer's
short stint as vocalsist in the band "Dead Girls" ended. Liah in search for a artist
to feature on a new song she was creating she met rapper Seneca Mack. Thus
The Switchblades were formed. Immediately the two began creating music that
everyone loved. The girls enjoy all genres of music and tend to mesh pop, punk,
hip hop, techno, and soul to create the "Switchblade sound". After going
through minor changes within the group, Seneca and Liah continued to record
tracks like "Sex Slave" a hard hitting, sexy, hypnotic techno song, and
the international underground hit "Honey".
The Switchblades began to dominate the underground Detroit hip hop
scene. After being crowned the best female duo at TAUT in fall 2010; The
Switchblades continued to make a name for themselves on the underground
scene. As the girls let their musical creativity flow they are working on the birth
of their first music video and much more...
