Sworn To The Black

We are Sworn to the Black. Formed in late 2009 by former SEIP guitarist, Jared, and former SEIP/Epidemia drummer, Pelon , they began writing heavier and faster riffs with death/thrash influences. Former Beyond All Brutality bass player, Steve, joined the troupe in early 2010, along with former Epidemia guitarist, Chongo, shortly after. The 4 quickly began writing material and forming an idea of music, an idea of thrash/groove/death with haunting riffs and spine-chilling drum beats. Chongo was replaced with Travis, a former Decompsition member, on guitars in mid-July. After a long search for a singer, Corey joined the band in mid-October to complete the lineup.
We aren't your typical metal band that is heard now with melodic riffs, heavy verses and catchy choruses. Its heavy, thrash, in your face angry music with a very diverse writing style that strays away from your basic song structures. The music is definitely old school thrash metal with a mix of the new school brutallity that is heard in the heavy stuff.
