SwéZi I am. My music and my life is the same: "hard knock". It has the advantage of being written by a female which gives me a pass at reaching deep within my emotions and rapping about real life experiences - no matter how bi-polar it may sound. I would say eclectic - not indecisive like most. Yep!

I have always been a fan and lover of music; especially 70's music. I grew up in a family of the musically inclined. Everyone had some talent and played something. I was a member of the school band and loved rap music. I listened to a few female rappers but they were never my favorite. It wasn't until I heard Da Brat rap that a female rapper became my favorite artist. That was also the day that I decided to rap. I was 10-years-old. Unlike most rap artists who all sound the same and claim that they are influenced by no one, I sound completely unique and I am heavily influenced by just about everyone. George Clinton, Bootsie Collins, Scarface, Missy Elliot, OutKast, Jay-Z, Lauryn Hill, Pharell, Mos Def, BoHagon, Lil' Kim, Ludacris, Isaac Hayes, Curtis Mayfield, etc. People describe my music as a funky, laid back, grimy, down south, hip-hop type of groove. They describe my lyrics and rap performance as aggressive and articulate with powerful delivery.
