Bio

Blessed with a unique view on music as a whole. Rapper/ Producers Tyler Tedesco AKA SYC. Is set to take listeners on a journey through hip hop. Back before a hip hop scene even popped up. SYC and his long time friend were rapping on a Wal-Mart karaoke machine, bought for under 100 dollars. They eventually moved on and bought a studio mic and a nice computer. From there they took off running. Rapping under the group name Godz Anger. SYC was quickly booking shows in the Niagara Falls area. Playing pretty much where ever they could. The Band marched on and eventually more people got into the scene.

After putting out 4 CD’s in 3 years, SYC decided to further his education. He earned a diploma in Entertainment Management from Trebas in Toronto. While in Toronto SYC got involved with some local Producers and started learning the art of beat making/Producing tracks. It his here where SYC felt most at home. “The vibe in Toronto is really cool” Says SYC “ I was really able to hone my skills and get a taste of the whole process” SYC loved working with some many diverse artists during his time in Toronto that he almost did not come back home. But as fate would have it, coming home was a great move.

Upon SYC’s return to his roots. The Hip Hop scene was becoming stronger. A local radio show on Brock University’s CFBU was playing all local Hip hop. It’s wasn’t before long that SYC had his music reaching out to the people. “It was a trip to hear yourself on the radio for the first time” SYC says “I mean I’ve performed that song hundreds of times but, soon as it was on the radio It was like a totally new song to me”

SYC also started lining up the artist to work with. Offering free beats to any up coming artist, SYC started producing tracks for Eclipse, KAC Himself, The Verbal Butcher, L-Vicious and The Poet Trees. A song he produced for KAC Himself is on the album which was just nominated for Best Rap Album at the Niagara Music Awards 2009.

Ready with a new attitude, new vision, and a new drive. SYC is finally home. “It’s crazy man. To see that I’m helping build something that was not here before. To be a part of this scene is absolutely the best thing in my live right now.
