Sycho Logic

The band, Sycho Logic, comes from the city of Toronto. They have been together for over three years, have played nearly 100 shows in and out of Ontario and Quebec and have been featured on Edge 102.

The band consists of Rick Bhatti on vocals/guitar, Ron Bhatti on guitar/ vocals, Nate Sarafyn on bass guitar and Dan Cisalowicz on drums and percussion. The band first began playing together after a talent show at their high school. Since then, they have constantly played gigs everywhere throughout Toronto and its areas. Sycho Logic have made three releases to date, the first being a 6-track EP titled, “The Strathy Rd. EP” recorded in early 2004, the second being a 12-track full-length album titled, “No Suits, No Censors” recorded in mid 2005 and the third being the brand new 5-track EP released in summer 2007. All have been produced by Sycho Logic and released independently. Currently they are working on their 2nd full-length album.

Rick’s songwriting consists of hook driven arrangements and structures to the catchy melodies and harmonies. His lyrics touch on topics like politics, society, relationships and drugs. Ron’s guitar playing is heavily influenced by great guitarists such as Randy Rhoads, Paul Gilbert, and Eddie Van Halen. His insane solos and intense leads create a refreshing addition to each song. Nate is influenced by a lot older styles of rock n’ roll, hints of Bob Daisley and Green Day’s Mike Dirnt can be seen throughout his bass playing. His endless fills and quick fingers create an awesome atmosphere in which to carry the groove. Dan has been drumming since the age of 12, combining speed and control for a very exuberant drumming style. Being the backbone of the rhythm section, Dan’s fills and consistent beats help add another element to the songs.

Sycho Logic’s refreshing sound, energetic live shows and shear dedication to their music creates a band that is destined for a successful musical career.
