Bio

Sydney Elizabeth Davis was born February 17th, 1989 in Greenville, South Carolina. She has been singing in choirs since the 4th grade and is currently a junior in high school. When she was in 7th grade, she was part of her middle school's Honors Chorus and realized that she wanted to sing professionally. She told her choir director of her aspirations and soon she was with an agency in her hometown. During the year that she was involved with the agency, she learned of a talent convention called American Talent Showcase (or ATS). She then met the director of ATS and future talent agent Donna Ehrlich of Z-1 Models and Talent.

Once she started working with Donna and the Z-1 Agency, more things started to happen for Sydney. She has been on a 30-minute TV show about recycling and she has also been invited many times to perform at a stage show at ATS that many dream about performing in, The Legends Live.

In 2003, she recorded her first demo with a Nashville producer and was also asked to sing at the CMA Music Festival. There she sang at the Nashville Palace and the Douglas Corner Cafe. During the summer of 2003, she went to another ATS in Charleston, SC and earned three gold medals and one silver medal for her performances in the Monologue, TV Commercial, Individual Runway Modeling and Professional Vocal Talent events. In the fall of 2003, Sydney went to Arlington, Texas to sing at the legendary Johnny High Music Revue. That fall she also released a song from her first demo ("Ride of Her Life") to country radio. Later in 2003, Sydney went to ATS in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. She recieved ALL gold medals for her performances. In December 2003, she went to Los Angeles to shoot her first movie, Undercover Kids, where she played Cortney Willow. The movie was released on Tuesday, March 21, 2005 to all Blockbuster and Hollywood Video stores nationwide!

In 2004, Sydney recorded 2 more songs, she sang again at the CMA Music Festival, and went to ATS/MJA in July and November and scored very well. In the fall, she performed at the Jimmy Snow Show, and did several shows all through the Carolinas. She also had a booth at the Christian Country Music Association Awards in Late October/Early November in Nashville, where she also sang in the 'New Faces' Showcase and at the Media Luncheon.

With eight American Talent Showcase/Model Jam America conventions under her belt and a ninth on the way, Sydney has recieved a total of 23 gold medals, 9 silver medals and 5 1st runner-up medals for her singing, monologue performances, TV commercial performances, and individual runway modeling. She has performed with The Legends Live group now thirteen times. She has also won the prestigious Young Entertainer of the Year Award, as voted on by the judges and scouts that attend American Talent Showcase/Model Jam America.

In 2005, Sydney has put out a new album entitled, Silly Boys, Trucks Are For Girls. (You can listen to and/or buy the WHOLE ALBUM at www.cdbaby.com/cd/sydneydavis/ or www.bestbuy.com .) She signed autographs and performed at CRS (Country Radio Seminar) in March in Nashville, and was back in June to sign autographs and perform at the CMA Music Festival! The Legends Live performed at the Come See Me Festival in Rock Hill, South Carolina in April, at ATS/MJA in July and November in Charleston, and at a fundraising events in September and November!

January 2006 sees the first major radio release to Billboard, Radio & Record and Music Row stations. The song "Broken" is destined to be Sydney's first of many signature songs.
