Biography

Sylvia Chave has been singing for children since 1990 when she began with Prairie Patch. In 2005 she became a solo act and has been spreading her kind of music fun across the province of Saskatchewan and beyond. She is thrilled to be off to the Northern Alberta Children's Festival this June after having just launching their Noisy Theatre Series at the Arden Theatre in November.

She has released 2 solo albums, both of which have been nominated for Western Music Awards. Last year she was one of 4 SaskCulture Animateurs travelling the province promoting Culture Days and engaging people in creative activities and wrote a theme song for the province.

She has her own Concert Series in Saskatoon, at the Refinery. These 12 concerts are family favourites and are usually sold out. Sylvia is the mother of four living with her husband in Delisle, SK.
