"Superb Performer"

This performer is superb and excelent. I did not know if this is possible to get a great singer over the internet. She is the best and we will continue to utilize gigmaster services and Symintha for all our family events and church events. I would like to personally say she is above the standard and her fees can be higher because she puts in all her dedication. Thanks Gigmaster and Symintha. Love her name. We will stay in contact with gigmaster and SYmintha. God Bless her. 5 stars...... -Consuela I, Grapevine, TX (gig ID# 294062)

Bio

Symintha is an anointed Christian songwriter, preacher, and psalmist. She is no stranger to the gospel music industry. She has been on the scene more than two decades singing first as a background vocalist for various choirs and groups; a chorale director and minister of music; and later a psalmist touring the Unites States while captivating audiences with her tremendous gift.

Symintha is the product of a long line of apostolic preachers, teachers, evangelist and pastors such as Evangelist Rocine Jackson, Original Glorious Church Apostolic Faith, Bishop Charles Laster Sr and Evangelist Jacqueline Laster., Pastors of the Pentecostal Temple Church, Detroit, MI. She is a native of Detroit, MI and currently resides in the Lehigh Valley, PA area with her husband and children.

Symintha began her Christian walk and ministry under the tutelage of Evangelist Rocine Jackson. She received her first opportunity to sing as a solo artist with Bro. A. Craig Darby’s gospel ensemble on tour in Las Vegas, NV. She performed Tramaine Hawkins’ “Don’t be Weary and “Holy One” as her first solos. She accepted the call into the ministry while attending True Holiness Church of God in Christ, Lancaster, California. She was also a worship leader and minister of music under Elder Paul E. Jones. Symintha has a beautifully toned mezzo soprano voice encompassing a 5 octave range. She has been compared to such gospel legends as Tramaine Hawkins, Yolanda Adams, and Vicki Winans. However, make no mistake Symintha has a unique style of her own and is best known for her ability to make a song her own. She is a veteran musical evangelist who is able to connect with any audience uplifting Jesus Christ while encouraging the believer and bringing the message of hope and salvation to the unbeliever.

She has ministered on two live platforms as a solo vocalist in Atlanta, GA as minister of music of the Out of Egypt Ministries with Prophet Deborah Sgroi and during a broadcast of "Atlanta Live” Christian television programming. She appeared as a background vocalist with the Potter's House Choir on the 2001 Stellar Awards singing the acclaimed “The Storm Is Over”. She won the singles Talent show at the Potter's House in 2000. She performed with the drama ministry at the Black Arts Theatre in Dallas, Texas as well as surrounding prisons. She has also appeared as an extra on the popular television series “Prison Break” (2007). In addition, she is the two-time winner of the Edwards Air Force base-wide talent show.

She has been a featured artist on many live recordings including Minister Thomas E. Dudley and the Harmonious Voices for Christ’s’ live recording leading "Worthy is the Lamb"; The Potter’s House Choir live recording “The Storm Is Over” which featured Pastor Donnie McClurkin, Pastor Beverly Crawford, and Minister Myron Williams. She has opened for Gospel Icons Pastor Shirley Caesar in concert in Butler, AL; Sister Tramaine Hawkins in concert in Hampton, VA; the Anointed Pace Sisters in concert; and Thomas Whitfield and Company in Detroit, MI at their 1998 anniversary celebration.
