Feeling a bit camera shy

Sympathy's Wasted emerged out of school where Nick, Todd, and Luke first met. After spending years together growing up, the three realized that they saw the world much differently than these around them. In the winter of 2003, after putting much else aside, Sympathy's Wasted began in it's bare bone form. two years since, SW recorded on two occasions, completing over 24 songs. All recording was done by SW with equipment on loan from friends. After spending almost a year in the basement, Sympathy's Wasted emerged to play shows at the Cactus Club, the Rock Shop, as well scene shows at the Shorewood Legion Hall. Sympathy's Wasted is now looking to play more consistenty, and in places outside our hometown. Bringing our self produced and self-recorded album with us, SW expects to have an amazing time. Sympathy's Wasted speaks of a world in need of improvement. The lyrics are written out of the unexpected quirks and insecurities that make up the people of america/ Words describing a confused and dumb populous, from clipping coupons with ranch dressing dripping from thier chins onto the paper, to the blind religious paths people are on with no idea why, are the motivation for SW's writing. Sympathy's Wasted writes to motivate americans to do something other than take up space and forget the moments passed.
