Bio

"The presentation of something more than just a musician, but a true artist; working with everyone who can collaborate to make all aspects of art. A cohesion of collective consciousness and innovation. What I want to achieve is greatness, in all aspects from the music, promotional art to the stage shows. I want people to walk away thinking they have just seen the most immersive and impressive “Show, not gig” of their current experiences. Something that pushes their morals and ethics, thats makes them question their worlds”.

T R I P C I K aka Joseph Law (Born Feb 24th 1986), is an unsigned electronic, experimental pop artist & music producer from Coventry, England and former leader of musical group “Don’t Wait Animate’

The music is delicate and intrinsic. “A Mechanical Skeleton”, with electronic 2 steps beats at the core, layered with an organic skin of pianos & strings of retrospective trip hop.

"Music is what you make it, but it will always mean more if it is honest.

After the disbanding of original band “Don’t Wait Animate” and taking time out to become a father, T R I P C I K is currently planning to release his first debut single “The Black Snow In June” on the 5th October 2015.

T R I P C I K was born out of the itching’s of fatherhood and new family life. From the partying, the drinks and drugs. to the non induce sleepless nights and change of responsibility. With change of perspective came a new opening of surroundings and topics that hit home hard. The Music that was made became more intrinsic and subtle complexity started to mirror the grey areas being experienced within real life.

From these complexities, what started as a question "How could we carry on with the things we claim to love as we simultaneously destroy them?" the idea for the single “The Black Snow In June” began to take shape. With the song being more of a ballad of sorts there was a shift in the outlook of what beauty was visually, could there be subtly of it within chaos? Which gave the idea of a domestic violence scene between two lovers. The Video was directed Francesca Castelbuono.
