Bio
Ta'adol is a Persian Alternative rock band formed in Tehran. The band is composed of Majid Heidari (guitar, vocals); Ali Keivanmarz (vocals, guitar); Mehrdad Bakhtiari (bass guitar, keyboards) and Ali Sina Bazrafshan (drums, percussion).
The band was formed in summer of 2011 by the lead singer and guitarist Ali Keivanmarz and the guitarist Majid Heidari after the two met as members of an institutional concert. The name Taadol (means equilibrium) was chosen to honor the early attitude of the band toward music and generally everything around them. They describes Taadol's music as "the summery of every genre of music they are inspired by”. The primary activity of the band were mostly covering music from the bands like Radiohead, Oasis, Blur, Pixies and Pavement along with recording music of their own which resulted in 3 singles. In early 2013, Taadol started playing public gigs at Tehran where they were introduced to the later band members Alisina Bazrafshan and Mehrdad Bakhtiari whom were invited for the band and subsequently became the band's full-time drummer and bassist.
Taadol's later recording was the digital release of the single tracks “Lili-e Ziba” and “Mohmalat-e 20 Salegi” in 2013 and After Releasing “Roya dar Roya”In 2015, the band began working on their first studio album within a year, Taadol ended up with 2 Eps released in 2016. The Eps, each shows the band’s diverse musical inspiration while suggesting a band slipping free of its influences, mixing funk and indie with a blend of pop.
