"Musical Taandav"

It was an unforgettable evening...where music beamed like moonlight on a gloomy night. The ensemble of five tabla players charmed the audience. The listeners were moved as they enjoyed every tabla taandav with a round of applause.

It was surely the event of the season. - Times of India

"In Ecstasy"

Tabla Ecstasy had all facets of tabla playing in an enthralling and exciting form. - Ahmedabad Mirror

"Dazzling Drumming"

As they play together, the drummers look at each other with playful expressions and pure enjoyment. Despite the incredible speed and baffling complexity of the rhythmic patterns, the fingers of musicians dance gracefully in exact unison with each other. - Tiranga (USA)

We are releasing a CD of Pandit Divyang Vakil's previous ensemble Power of Tabla in June 2010.

Tabla Ecstasy is the latest tabla ensemble composed by Tabla Guru Pandit Divyang Vakil, a Indian music maestro with thousands of tabla compositions to his name. Through his compositions, he has given shape to a contemporary form of classical tabla playing. Tabla Ecstasy follows his previous works such as Power of Tabla, Tabla Taandav, Tabla Tarkhat, Tabla Triveni and more.

Pandit Divyang Vakil's tabla ensembles are a contemporary display of an age-old art, created with the intention of presenting Indian classical percussion in a form that all can enjoy. His ensembles are technically complex, appealing to the maestros and contemporary in sound, reaching to the masses. Each ensemble is performed by professional artists trained under Pandit Divyang Vakil.

The members of Tabla Ecstasy have been with Pandit Divyang Vakil for over 20 years each. In addition being members of his tabla ensembles, they regularly as tabla soloists and members of other music groups in India and around the world.

Tabla Ecstasy performs under the banner of Rhythm Riders Music Productions (Ahmedabad, India) - a music production house headed by Pandit Divyang Vakil.
