If you stayed till the end all I have to say is OH MY GOD THIS WOMAN CAN JAM!!!! Thank you so much Taborah for celebrating with us yesterday. - Rob Austin

"Hot Spots New Headlines"

Taborah - All I Gave To You

This girl is amazing. She was nice enough to help a friend and I out last year so I was glad I could return the favor with this. Originally recorded by Blackwood, its onlt fitting to have the voice and face that made the group famous back in the nineties be the one to rejuvenate this anthem at the forefront of some new mixes. This is an energetic mix that should work nicely in any club setting. I hope you enjoy... - Joe Bermudez

Bio

With a soulful, powerful six-octave vocal range, melodic writing style and on-stage presence, TABORAH never holds anything back and leaves an imprint in the hearts of many. Her last single, ‘All I Gave To You’ earned radio and club response, as it delivered a solid, in-your-face collection of jamming riffs and beats. The single was backed by famed celebrity DJs and Grammy Award winning producers, such as Joe Bermudez and Klubjumpers, John Rizzo & Barry Huffine, Giuseppe D and Josh Harris. Taborah once again secured a place on the Billboard Dance Club Chart and the song has become a dance floor favorite.

Taborah’s new CD entitled "A Piece of Me" will be released this Summer '08. It will include her new dance single 'You Gotta Go', along with a variety of new and remixed material from different genres. ‘You Gotta Go’(The Untold Story)’ is the full mix produced by Benjamin Johnson. The single will also include dance floor dub mixes. One dub mix entitled ‘Through With You', was produced by a new hot producer from the UK called Reflex. His mix is already making noise and being played on radio stations and in clubs across the U.S and abroad. Look for the new CD to be released this summer!

Taborah first hit the U.S. Billboard Dance Club Chart with her single ‘I Am’, remaining on the charts for 16 weeks and landing a top-5 spot. It captured the attention of many thanks to Taborah's distinctive and unique voice. ‘I Am’ has remained a favorite in the clubs and at Pride Events across the U.S. In November 2006, Taborah was honored with the distinguished ‘Artist of the Year’ award from New York’s Heritage of Pride. ‘I Am’ has earned its place as an evergreen, with renowned producer/re-mixer Johnny Rocks, lending his talents, the song was always destined to be a success. Additional remixes came from Guiseppe D, Friscia and Lamboy, and Jeff Barringer. The demand of the record also encouraged features on Television and interviews with radio veteran, Joe Franklin.

With Dance music being popular in Europe, it was easy for Taborah to claim success there, being the songwriter, face and voice of the very popular group 'Blackwood.' She wrote three albums and a catalog of songs that charted at 1 and remained on the Billboard Dance Charts for 30 consecutive weeks. Her songs were produced and remixed by Marascia and Sandro Murro aka Kortezman, who also where a part of Blackwood. Other remixes came from award winning DJ's such as Stefano Noferini and Alex Natale. She toured throughout Europe on a 63-date club and Festival Tour, which included the very popular high-end San Remo Festival. Blackwood received the coveted FIMI Best Dance Act Award and Taborah's Euro material was licensed in over 53 countries and her videos played on Euro MTV and You Tube.

A BMI songwriter, Taborah is not one-dimensional when it comes to writing. She writes and sings music of all genres and does not want to be labeled in the industry. “I love music that speaks to my soul from all walks of life, and my creativity doesn’t limit my style to just one,” says Taborah. Her passion for variety will soon show in her album that she is steadily working on, but her dance foundation will always be present as she’s guaranteed to have her album remixed into dance floor explosions.

Born Taborah Adams on May 30th and raised on Long Island, New York, Taborah’s lyrics have become a symbol of expression for so many; this from an artist who writes from her heart yet never intended to become a professional singer. “Singing was always in my blood and something my family did as a past time, so I never thought about it as a career,” she says. Her grandmother traveled and toured, playing piano and singing to the U.S.O., Troops and her father sang and toured in college with the acclaimed Fisk Jubilee Singers. Taborah adds, “I always enjoyed writing poetry and would often add melodies to my lyrics, but my words were only reflections of where I was in my life.”

Besides all of the above, Taborah has still found time to lend her talents too many non-profit organizations such as LIGALY, Joe's Big Gay Luau, Hurricane Katrina Benefit and LifeBeat’s Heart and Voice, were she rocked the room at Terrence Cardinal Cooke hospital with a stellar set.

There is no doubt Taborah is becoming a household name in the U.S.
