"Fans of chugging, red-meat rock came out early [to Lollapalooza] for the Boston boys TAB the Band." - Entertainment Weekly
TAB The Band is a melodic guitar rock band with a healthy dose of Mick Jagger vocal snarl. This act also has a wonderful sense of humor. When they say of a girl, “she’s an Alex not a Mallory,” it’s just the sort of Family Ties reference that makes my day. Nothing on Pulling out Just Enough to Win is all that complicated. Instead, TAB The Band does the simple stuff extremely well. “Secretary’s Day” is a chugging rocker, which doesn’t feature a whole lot of sonic dynamics. But it doesn’t need any frills. So rather than turning the studio into some kind of an aural LSD experiment, these guys plug in, turn it up, and smash the joint. This is crazy beautiful driving music. Play it in the car with all the windows down, and watch out for jealous stares. - Popmatters
"Tab the Band...lights up the night with the fist-pumping sounds of its new record, "Long Weekend."" - New Yorker
"...has created an exuberant album that tips the hat to its rock & roll predecessors without feeling trite or at all derivative." - NPR
"Show up early for the big arena sounds of TAB the Band." - Time Out New York
"TAB's album (and plugged-in live show) is big time rock...[their acoustic set] sounded great…it really felt like we were witnessing something special and different." - VH1's Best Week Ever
"This band rawks." - Blender
"...playing killer Cheap Trick-meets-Lemonheads-style power-pop, and doing just fine." - Boston Globe
TAB The Band has only been together for three years, but since then there has been no stopping them. This indie rock group is known for their spunky songs and music that is full of powerful riffs. Fans won’t be disappointed with their upbeat new single, “Bought And Sold,” off their upcoming album, Zoo Noises. - The Aquarian Weekly
Named as a "band to watch" in 2009. - Noize Makes Enemies (UK)

BIO:
TAB the Band is currently working on its newest album with producer Mark Neill (The Black Keys, Dan Auerbach, Old 97s) which will be released in 2012.
A rock & roll band with an enduring fondness for pure pop and a wicked, sly sense of humor, TAB the Band defy easy categorization. They may love the Beatles and Cheap Trick as much as T-Rex and the Rolling Stones, but TAB aren’t classic rockers; they’re a vibrant, contemporary band that blends the vigor of punk, the might of arena rock and the melodicism of power-pop, earning the admiration of Slash, Stone Temple Pilots, Isaac Brock of Modest Mouse, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, and J Mascis of Dinosaur Jr, alt-rock stalwarts who requested TAB The Band as their opening act. TAB The Band’s full range can be heard on Zoo Noises (released Jan. 26, 2010), a freewheeling, all-encompassing carnival ride, fueled by such intoxicating singles as the percussive “She Said No (I Love You)” and the breakneck hooks of “Bought and Sold.”
