T-Ack Off Da Chain definitely has the right Title. It is Off Da Chain. It was my first experience with Gospel Rap and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I enjoy the music very much. I must say my favorite song is "Thank You." This song truly allowed me to worship God in a real way. This is a great CD and has the potential to be a very good tool in ministering to our youth. God bless you for doing His work, T-Ack!

Travis "T-ACK" Acklin is an anointed preacher and gospel rapper. Travis was called at the age of twenty into the ministry. His first call was to preach the uncompromising word of God. Through his maturation process T-ACK has become not only known for his "Out the Box" sermons but also his lyrical genious. Influenced by many different artist in different genres, T-ACK has joined his God given talents with his influences to create a masterpiece.
What makes T-ACK different from the status quo is his ability to reach the young and old through preaching the gospel and ministering through music. His peers have labeled him the "TD Jakes" of his generation. Not by the size of his ministry, but by the many giftings God has blessed him with to bring people to Jesus Christ!
His Story: "God graced me through years of pain, drama, and loss. Through crushing, God develops humility. Through pain, God develops character. Through drama, God develops our trust. I was blessed by God at an early age to minister to other children my age. I remember thinking outside of the box during worship service as a kid. But tradition would not allow my thinking to be manifested. So I was like Jesus, in so many ways, I was subject unto those God had placed me under as a child, but I knew that one day what I was seeing in the spirit would be a reality. I knew at that point I would be that guy preaching and rapping in the church. God showed me back in 1993 this time that we are living in. A time where God is no longer restricted to a culture or creed. "OH" how great is our GOD!!! My desire is to bring people to Jesus in all races and cultures."
I love music by: Kirk Franklin, Jeremy Camp, Canton Jones, 3rd Day, Hillsong, William Murphy, the lists goes on and on. Fact is, I love music. It doesn't matter the sound to me, as long as Jesus is in it and God is being glorified, WE ARE GOOD!!
