Taera´s first album is
“ Carta sonora”
(sonic letter)released by 2ferrecords/PIAS and it´s a letter written with different coloured pencils:
soul, jazz,pop,groove. A letter that invites us to dance paying attention to the words, lyrics that aren´t just the filling of a tune but fulfill our soul.
Life can be dance and hedonism but It can also be rage and the need to speak up. Taera seduces with this combination , with this unique and different way of finding ourselves on the dance floor and in the melancholy of expressing things nicely.As
Language is a via for travelling , sometimes in Spanish, sometimes English or punjabi/Hindi.
It seduces us, it holds us, it moves us, it´s contagious. You can sing her songs and her rhythms will be taooed on your soul.
Carta Sonora was recorded Estudio Establo 2007 and It has been produced by Fernando Polaino known for other Works like : Dwomo, La Cabra Mecánica y La Orquesta Pinha. Many musicians have collaborated like:Toni Mangas y Pepe Andreu de El Bicho, Juan Cruz, Mati Mormandi, Fredrik Moth, Begoña Larrañaga, Miguel Rodrigañez and the arrangements are the consequence of the work of Taera with Guillermo Arrom, javi and Cata, guitarrista de El Combolinga.
