There’s something to be said about a man that that can stay true the traditions of a culture, and push the envelope of innovation at the same time. Most would describe such a person as grounded, determined, and creative; you can call him TAIS.
Standing for the acronym “Truth Arises In Search”, TAIS is an emcee that advocates self awareness and the quest for personal truth through music. The message is simple, “If you search for the truth, you’ll find it.” And after 6 years of composing songs and touring with his group Righteous Movement, it is a message that listeners from all over the world are starting to tune into. In a recent review, TAIS was said to have a “flow reminiscent of a young Talib Kweli.”
And with everyday life reflecting in the rhymes, TAIS invites listeners to experience a full spectrum of emotions. Touching on everything from careless partying to American political thought, TAIS leads the quest on the search for truth.
