Take the King

Charles Donovan 

Charles is half of the dueling guitar attack and also half of the vocals for the band coming from Oregon, Wisconsin. Charles packs a huge punch with his sound even though it's coming from a somewhat smaller package. Charles is also one of the co writers for the bands music. He recently stepped into the role of singing and continues to shred on his guitar as he has since the beginning.

Galen Austin

Galen is from Mount Horeb, Wisconsin,  and provides the rhythms that drive the music of Take The King. Despite being left-handed, Galen plays on a right-handed drum kit, enabling him to create great new beats to hold down the rhythm section.

Jens Shager

Jens is the other half of the guitarist/vocalist combo, is from Madison, Wisconsin. Jens draws from a wide range of influences, from Pantera to blink-182. Jens is the main songwriter for the band while also taking the roles of singing and playing guitar. 

Van Tetzner

Van too is from Madison, Wisconsin, is the bassist rounding out the group. Van joined the band only two weeks after starting to learn bass, and has already made incredible progress. Van is a drummer and pianist by trade, and combines melody and power to bring a unique playing style to the table.
