Take care formed in the suburbs of Boston, MA at the start of 2009, when brothers Kyle Joseph and Dan Joseph (DJ) began writing music with friends Dan Phelan and Sean St. Germain. The band wrote furiously throughout the winter and spring of that year, and recorded and mixed their first album, Awakenasleep, over the course of only four days in the summer of 2009.
After a year of growth since Awakenasleep, the band began the process of preparing themselves for a second album. They recorded a Demo for their coming album in the summer of 2010, which is available on their website, www.takecareband.com.
With members spread across four different colleges in the New England area, the band is currently heavily involved with work for their second album.
