TAKERU, is a fantastic new artist from Japan. This may or may not be the first time you hear about him but it most definitely is not going to be the last..
While most other newcomer artists in Tokyo would turn to producers and record labels round the corner in the city,Takeru had his mind set on an international career from start. In 2009, Takeru came in contact with Swedish house music producer Hakan Ludvigson and appeared on one of his track (to be released on famous New York house label System Recordings in 2010). Up to the present date, Takeru was signed record deals to the labels in France and Denmark, and he has worked with very well known Swedish producer, Douglas Carr(Meja, Backstreet Boys, 'nsync, Ace of Base etc). also Takeru cowrites songs with songwriters in Europe for Japanese artists as a songwriter. And now, he's based in London. This 25-year old talent is right now working hard on his yet untitled debut album - a catchy and upbeat cocktail of Pop, R&B, Rock and Electro, which will be coming out soon.
