October 2011 was a bleak month for all members involved. Our bands had parted ways and, unbeknown to each toher, we were all rattling around looking for something new. Although connected via common friends, it took a chance advert that Jay (frontman) had posted online for drummer Si to reply to. Recogising one another straight away the pair agreed to a rehearsal on the 3rd September 2011. Straight away the songs started flowing and Taking Down Titans was quickly formed. With a writing style that compliments each individual, the formula was definitely there. Within a month the band had recorded 4 tracks by themselves and just a week later 4 more in a professional studio. The band now boast an 8 track EP entitled 'No Frills' that is soon to be subject to a short run and given out at future gigs. Taking Down Titans has achieved so much in its infancy and are sure to take the scene by storm in 2012.
