Bio
Born and raised in israel,Tal started playing and study the saxophone at the age of 11. Surrounded with pastoral green hills and cotton fields among the sounds of combat aircrafts in the sky, he developed his musical expression by exploring the saxophone and other instruments. After fulfilling his obligation to serve in the army, he studied sound engineering in Tel aviv and between 2002-2005 he studied at the Rubin academy of music and dance in Jerusalem, for a bachelor degree in performance arts. By this time Tal participated with a various groups which performed and recorded in Israel and Europe different styles such as jazz, rock, hassidic and balkan. His experience, education and personality gave him a unique approach for music and sound which led to create music who speaks the voice of the individual who seeks his path through life. He is winner of "America Israel cultural foundation" 2004-2005. in 2007, Tal released his debut album, "Air Portrait". Today Tal split his time between Israel and the United States. He is member of the the contemporary jazz group Water esc." the brass band "MarshDondurma", the blues band "sit down baby" and the funk jam-jazz band "Caravan shall run".
